Carmen Hocking is the owner of A Beautiful Wedding. As the founder and owner of A Beautiful Wedding, Carmen strives for professionalism, creativity and impeccable organization. She has received training in planning and consulting, etiquette, long range planning and developing timelines and much more. In addition, Carmen has her Credentials in Ministry and experience in corporate events for a large company. Carmen has a great knowledge and understanding of the needs and expectations of brides today.
Carmen is also the founder of WING - Wedding Industry Networking Group. The group consists of the top-of-the-line expert wedding professionals who are essential in assisting wedding couples with the most important day of their lives.
Carmen's excellent planning skills and careful attention to the myriad of details involved in a successful wedding, and her passion for weddings has earned her an excellent reputation among wedding vendors and couples. Getting to know her couples and developing friendships with them enables her to plan weddings which are truly a reflection of the couples love, passion and commitment to each other. Carmen invites you to save time, money, and long hours of planning, by utilizing her unique and experienced company and the knowledge and negotiation expertise of many years in her coordination of weddings.
Carmen regularly attends seminars and workshops in the wedding industry, which allows her to continue her education and expertise. She has also been honored with the status of an Accredited Wedding Consultanttm, a prestigious title that she earned from her hard work and attention to detail in past weddings. Only 24 consultants in the world have been credited with this title from the Association of Bridal Consultants. Carmen has been a member since August, 2000. In her tenure with the Association, Carmen has attended several conferences across the nation to learn the latest and greatest in the wedding industry. Carmen and her husband Mike reside in Lawrence, Kansas with their three children, Blake, Ashley and Nicholas.
